🍭 Beta testing coming next week! + new Features

Hello Guardian!

I’m so excited we are getting closer and closer to the final vision of the game!

We’ll be getting to our final round of playtests before release: the closed Beta test!

Keep your eyes peeled for the email next week where you will receive an exclusive Beta Steam code as a member of this mailing list the coolest magical girl club on the internet and be able to help in the development one last time.

That out of the way, let me show you some new things you will see in the game!

There’s a whole new Rewards + Goals system!

You will now have a magical girl brooch that will show you your goals and achievements and reward you Hearts for that. Let’s see if you can get all the achievements!

And yes, it is shaped like a macaroon.

Each level will now have a special goal to achieve. They’re optional but let’s see if you can rise to the challenge. I believe in you!

Things were a bit too passive in the missions so now it is up to YOU to actually heal the citizens. Your wand detects the citizens who are ready for your magic, point your wand on them and click to heal!

There’s also a new Power Upgrade where you can let your wand do the job if you want because as you get a lot of citizens on screen things can get quite hectic!

And there are some other smaller updates too:

• Guide: some panels with more detailed information of what you learned in the tutorial with Taffy. You can consult anytime now.

• Darker screen: this specific aesthetic of the game can be a bit too bright so now there’s an option to play with a darker screen.

• One new clothing set for this Beta (full game will have them all!)

• Some text alignment corrections were also made.
